Ashdowne is set in the heart of Stopsley, Luton and is in close proximity to local services including shops, library and sports centres. This day centre allows clients to learn and develop within a safe environment, supported by a skilled and devoted staff team.

Ashdowne offers a diverse timetable of activities based within our classrooms, sensory garden or within the local community. Primary focus is to encourage independent living as well as working within the confines of a team.

Highlights

Ashdowne recognises each person as an individual. Social skills are developed via activities based around group interaction. Focus is placed on learning and improving skills which are useful across a range of life scenarios. Access to the community ensures everyone is confident within themselves and their living environment.

Your Day

Ashdowne has a wide range of services on offer. There is opportunity to take part in team activities and participation is encouraged. Individualism is also important; everyone should feel comfortable within their surroundings and feel at ease with both staff and peers.

Staff strive to assist clients personal progression and offer support to maintain a balance between work and home, making sure each person feels valued, included and awarded for achievements.
