Saddlers Farm

Saddlers Farm, based in Sharnbrook Bedfordshire, is a unique day care facility offering the opportunity to access a range of vocational activities within spacious outdoor surroundings and hobby farm.

Set in 7.5 acres of prime farmland, this centre has a busy but light-hearted working environment. It is here that individuals can develop skills and knowledge by actively participating in the variety of sessions this farm offers. Each person is fully supported in accordance to their needs to ensure they reach their full potential and have fun in the process.

Highlights

The wide range of facilities and the open space makes Saddlers such a unique and diverse establishment. Set in acres of farm land, Saddlers is calm and tranquil with plenty of open spaces and a range of activities to choose from. The poly tunnels on site offer a great sensory experience. Supplying flowers and herbs to smell and touch has proven to have a positive influence on client behaviour.

Livestock and pets at Saddlers mean there’s never a dull moment, there’s; goats, horses, chickens and more, everyone helps ensure the well-being of the farm animals.

Your Day

Attending Saddlers Farm offers variety and plenty of activities to choose from. Everyone is encouraged to be themselves and work as part of a team.

Every day brings with it a new challenge, clients have the opportunity to grow vegetables and even cook and eat them, this allows the clients to see a process from beginning to end. Clients will work with staff to ensure they are assisted in achieving goals, which are visible through a series of measurable outcomes set out in our client Life plans.

Saddlers distinctive service supports flexibility and adapts around the ever-changing needs of each individual. Client needs are assessed and evaluated throughout, promoting development and ensuring continuous stimulation and personal progression.
