Lansdowne Road

Lansdowne Road is situated in the centre of Bedford a short walk from the town centre. With a range of dependencies among the clients, staff work with each client to ensure they get the most from their day to day lives. Lansdowne prides itself in promoting independence within the home and offers daytime activities to occupy those not out in the community. Events are often held in the evenings to encourage clients to socialise with one another. Lansdowne has an open door policy, which means relatives are free to visit and spend time at the home.

Highlights

Lansdowne Road is a care home which promotes uniqueness and independent living among clients. Each have their own room, decorated to personal taste and preference. The home is spacious with a welcoming feel and has a large living room and dining area to to relax and socialise.

There is a self-contained bungalow on-site if residents wish to progress to live alone within the perimeters of a secure environment. Staff get to know each person thoroughly and spend a lot of time ensuring their well-being and happiness.

Your Stay

Clients at Lansdowne enjoy a fulfilling and occupied lifestyle. During the day some individuals are out working, each has their own routine. Others attend one of the day care centres.

Evenings at Lansdowne are spent at various activity clubs or relaxing with peers. On the weekends clients have
visitors, go on day trips or pursue a hobby, each person is given the opportunity to live independently and staff members build relationships to ensure living is as easy as possible.
